Chalampé is a commune located in the Haut-Rhin department in eastern France.

History

According to historical accounts, the village traces its origins to 1709. Soldiers serving under Marshal Dubourg settled the site after defeating Austrian forces led by Count Claude Florimond de Mercy. This event occurred in the context of the War of the Spanish Succession.
