Camignolo — former municipality in Ticino, Switzerland

On 21 November 2010 Camignolo ceased to be an independent municipality. It joined with several nearby communes—Bironico, Medeglia, Rivera and Sigirino—to form the new municipality of Monteceneri. Importance and legacy

Although no longer an autonomous municipality, Camignolo continues to be recognized as a settlement and locality within Monteceneri.
