Marcia Louise Fudge (born October 29, 1952) is an American politician. Fudge is the 18th and current United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development since 2021. She was the U.S. Representative from Ohio's 11th congressional district from 2008 until 2021. She is a member of the Democratic Party.
Fudge was Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus in the 113th Congress.
In December 2020, Fudge was nominated by President-elect Joe Biden to serve as the United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. She was confirmed by the United States Senate on March 10, 2021.
