Karl Fredrik "Freddie" Ljungberg (born 16 April 1977) is a Swedish former professional footballer and coach. Widely remembered for his time at Arsenal, he became one of the Premier League's best-known wide players in the late 1990s and 2000s. He combined speed, direct attacking play and an eye for goal, often arriving late in the penalty area to score decisive strikes.

Playing career

Ljungberg began his senior career in Sweden before moving to England, where he spent the peak years of his club career.
