Birchanger, Essex

Birchanger is a village and civil parish in the district of Uttlesford, in the county of Essex, England. It is a predominantly rural settlement whose recorded population at the 2001 census was 987. The parish combines open farmland, scattered housing and a compact village nucleus that retains a traditional English village character.
