Caleb McLaughlin

Early life and training

McLaughlin was born and raised in Carmel, New York. His parents, April and Corey McLaughlin, supported his early interest in performance. He trained in local theatre programs, studied singing and movement for stage work and took part in community and professional productions before joining a major Broadway company.

One of McLaughlin's first high-profile engagements was as Young Simba in the long-running Broadway musical Broadway's production of The Lion King, a role he performed between 2012 and 2014.
