Born 14 January 1971, Antonios Nikopolidis is a retired Greek goalkeeper who enjoyed a long professional career in Greece and became widely known after the national team's surprising success at UEFA Euro 2004. He represented his country at senior level and spent most of his club career with Greece's top teams.

Club career

Nikopolidis played as a first–team goalkeeper for several prominent Greek clubs during his career, most notably Panathinaikos and Olympiacos.
