Ahmad Lozi (1925–2014), Jordanian statesman who served as Prime Minister from Nov 1971 to May 1973, noted for a decades-long role in national leadership and public institutions.

Ahmad Lozi (also spelled Ahmad al-Lawzi; 1925 – 18 November 2014) was a Jordanian statesman. He served as Prime Minister of Jordan from 29 November 1971 until 26 May 1973.

Political career

Lozi held senior positions in Jordan's political system across several decades. His premiership fell during the reign of King Hussein and covered a period of domestic and regional challenges. As prime minister he led the cabinet between late 1971 and mid‑1973; records list the exact term as 29 November 1971 to 26 May 1973.

Later life and death

After leaving the premiership Lozi remained involved in public affairs. He died on 18 November 2014.
