History

Before debut, the performers were publicly showcased through survival and reality formats that highlighted their skills and personalities. They made a planned return in 2016 with the EP EXIT:E, intended to begin a larger conceptual series, but the project was interrupted when one member, Nam Tae-hyun, left the group on November 26, 2016, citing health concerns. Following that departure, WINNER resumed activity as a four-member ensemble and issued the single album Fate Number For, marking a new phase of promotion and musical direction.
