Tha Eastsidaz

Tha Eastsidaz is an American hip-hop duo from Long Beach, California, consisting of (Big) Tray Deee and Goldie Loc.

Career

Both (Big) Tray Deee and Goldie Loc were protégés of Snoop Dogg. The latter formed the group in 1999 and released their debut album Snoop Dogg Presents Tha Eastsidaz on his own label Dogghouse Records, which was awarded a platinum record by the RIAA. The very next year, the group followed up with their second album, Duces 'N Trayz: The Old Fashioned Way, which also went gold. The group broke up, however, when (Big) Tray Deee was sentenced to twelve years in prison.
