NRK1

NRK1 is a television station of the Norwegian state broadcasting company NRK. In the first quarter of 2012, the station had a market share of 35.4 %.

First test broadcasts began on 12 January 1954, and first regular test broadcasts began on 13 April 1958. The program began regular broadcasting on 20 August 1960 in Oslo, as NRK's first television station. Until 1996, the station was known simply as "NRK". In the meantime, there are also sister channels NRK2 and NRK3.

The news programme Dagsrevyen is broadcast every day at 7 pm on NRK1 and NRK2. One of the most watched programmes is the comedy programme Nytt på nytt.
