Nancy Sue Wilson (February 20, 1937 – December 13, 2018) was an American jazz singer and actress. Her career began in 1950 and she retired in 2011. She was born in Chillicothe, Ohio.
Wilson won three Grammy Awards for her recordings. She was known as "Sweet Nancy", "The Baby", "Fancy Miss Nancy" and "The Girl With the Honey-Coated Voice". Her best known works were "(You Don't Know) How Glad I Am", "I Wanna Be With You", and "Uptight (Everything's Alright)".
Wilson died from kidney cancer on December 13, 2018, at her home in Pioneertown, California at the age of 81.
