Mitsuo Ogasawara (born April 5, 1979) is a retired Japanese professional football player best known for a long career with Kashima Antlers and for representing the Japan national team. A technically gifted midfielder, he combined creativity, set-piece ability and leadership across a club career that stretched from the late 1990s through 2018.
