History and development

The band originally performed under the name Saron Gas before adopting the moniker Seether, inspired by a song title from an American alternative rock group. After relocating attention to the United States and signing with a major label, they released their debut album and continued to grow their audience through radio singles and touring. Over the decades the lineup has evolved, but the band maintained a continuous presence on rock playlists and festival bills.
