Michael Patrick Francis Gunner (born 6 January 1976) is an Australian politician who rose to prominence as leader of the Northern Territory branch of the Australian Labor Party. He represented the Darwin-area electorate of Fannie Bay in the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly from 2008 and led Labor to government in 2016. Gunner served as the 11th Chief Minister of the Northern Territory.

Early career and entry into politics

Born in the Northern Territory, Gunner entered territorial politics in the 2008 election.
