Kirthar National Park
f2
Kirthar National Park is located in the southwestern part of Sind Province in Pakistan and was established in 1974. The total area covers 3087 sq km, making it the second largest national park in the country after Hingol National Park. The natural wildlife included leopards, striped hyenas, wolves, honey badgers, circle horn sheep, Chinkara gazelles and the Sind wild goats. Deer goat antelope are being bred in enclosures for a planned reintroduction. The large carnivores, on the other hand, have now been largely eradicated. The last leopard was shot in 1977.
