Dumyat (Arabic محافظة دمياط Muhāfazat Dumyāt, DMG Muḥāfaẓat Dumyāṭ) or Damiette is a governorate in Egypt with a population of 1,496,765, located in the eastern Nile Delta.

It borders the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Ad-Daqahliyya Governorate to the south. The administrative center is Dumyat (Damietta).
