Cedarosaurus is a genus of sauropod dinosaur from the Lower Cretaceous epoch. It was a herbivore of unknown size. Cedarosaurus was named for the Cedar Mountain Formation in eastern Utah, USA. It was a brachiosaurid sauropod that ate tall vegetation from the tree canopy. The skeleton was found in the Cedar Mountains the late 1990s by a team of paleontologists from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The skeleton was missing the neck, head and other parts.
