Vikram Chatterjee is an Bengali actor who has worked in both feature films and television serials. He first appeared on the big screen in 2012 and has since taken on leading parts in a number of Bengali-language productions.
Career
Chatterjee made his film debut with a small part in Mainak Bhowmik's 2012 movie Bedroom. Later that year he was cast in a principal role for Bappaditya Bandopadhyay's Elar Char Adhyay, an adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore's novel Char Adhyay. Over the following years he moved into regular leading roles, appearing in films such as Ami Aar Amar Girlfriends, Hoichoi and Britto, among others.
Television
Alongside his film work, Chatterjee became widely known to television audiences for his portrayal of Anurag in the daily soap Ichchenodi. The show increased his visibility and helped him build a substantial fan following.
Notable performances and reception
Critics and industry observers noted his performance as Zico in the film Shaheb Bibi Golaam, which brought him significant attention and favorable commentary for the role.
