Roger Frederick Wicker (born July 5, 1951, in Pontotoc, Mississippi) is an American politician serving as the senior United States Senator from Mississippi. A member of the Republican Party, Wicker has represented the state in the Senate since his appointment in 2007 and previously served in the U.S. House of Representatives beginning in 1995 after winning the seat formerly held by Jamie L. Whitten.
