Tonbridge and Malling
Tonbridge and Malling is an administrative district with borough status in the county of Kent in England. It covers an area extending from the North Downs in the north to the town of Tonbridge in the south, with the River Medway flowing through it to the north-east. The administrative seat is West Malling; other significant towns include Aylesford, Burham, East Peckham, Hadlow, Hildenborough, Kings Hill, Snodland and Tonbridge.
The district was formed on 1 April 1974, resulting from the merger of Tonbridge Urban District, Malling Rural District and part of Tonbridge Rural District.
